Rock this seasons latest hair colors, that being purple hair, pink hair, mint hair, burgandy hair in either a bright shade or pastel shade. These hair colors are often hard to achieve and not easily maintained, especially pastel colors. My color product choice for pink hair, purple hair and all wild colors? Pravana Chromasilk! Pravana Chromasilk offers a fab array of bold and pastel hair colors that stay well, but fade gradually when you are ready for a change.
Pravana Chromasilk Vivids Line
I do not suggest Manic Panic unless your ready to commit to the color for the long haul.
DIY:
. Strip out your hair to the lightest pale/white color - most need bleach
. Rinse and dry
. Pick your color choice
. Mix Pravana Chromasilk Color with appropriate developer
. Process at least 30 minutes.
. wash, condition and dry.
The Bold and Bright colors for purple hair, pink hair, fuschia hair and more will last longer than their pastel counterparts.
Purple Hair, Blue Hair, Pink Hair, Ocean Ombre Hair Color
Do not be afraid to create ombre hair color or mix match sections of hair with complimentary colors.
The Pastel Shades are a bit trickier - Pravana does have a line of Pastel Hair Colors, but they really have not perfected them.
My recommendation is to use the desired Pravana Chromasilk Vivid Colors and dilute the color with Pravana's clear color. It is worthwhile to have a swatch of blonde hair and test the color on the blonde swatch allowing full processing time.
You will then create the perfect pastel pink hair color, purple hair color and all pastel shades. You can customize the intensity of the color by adjusting the amount of the Pravana Clear Hair Color and get so creative from solid shades to mixed colors.
Not ready for such a bold undertaking or feeling a bit too conservative? Go for Burgandy hair that offers tons of shine and still rock a bit of a hipster hair!
